Sigh

Do you know that saying: "The universe only gives you what you can handle?". Sometimes I think the universe has a very skewed opinion of what I can handle. Relatively speaking I have nothing to complain about...however there are certain things that keep recurring in my life and I wonder WHAT it is that I am supposed to be learning...I would really like to learn the lessons and get on to something new. I guess I'm a slow learner?

Going Bananas!!

We went to see the Wiggles last night and I thought Hannah was going to BURST. So much fun! And it made it even more special because daddy and nanny came with us. She sang, she drummed, she played the air guitar, she marched and hopped and stomped. She also did the Hot Potato song so well (and gave nanny directions too: "No nanny, do hot potato now!") that I think they may hire her to be the 5th Wiggle. The orange one of course.

I love watching the world pass and looking at it through Hannah's eyes. She sparkles from the inside out. Love it.

8 is Great!

So...today Derek and I have been married for eight years! Seems impossible...but here we are...I will never pretend that this has been an easy ride...marriage is work...what I will say is that I would not change a thing...I love who I married and he is my friend and a light in my life...who could ask for anything more?

Orange is the New Black

Keeping up with Hannah's need to match her clothes is challenging. Mostly because her favourite colour is orange. And what colour goes best with orange? Why orange of course! I had to wrestle her into blue socks today. Thank goodness they had Tow Mater on them or she may have been sockless...

We are still fortunate that for the most part she lets us dress her in what we like...and for me some of my favorites are her dancing outfits...who wouldn't think this is adorable?
