Just beacuse...

I am scared to be on my friend Sarah's lame blog list. So...I am writing a few lines in the hopes that a near 3-month absence will go unnoticed.

I am almost to the point where I am counting down the days of school. It happens every year. When we pass June's threshold something happens to both staff and students. We inevitably begin to think of summer and , for staff at least, the coming school year.

My time right now is divided between home and work and we have a pretty set routine going. Promise to post some pictures soon. Hannah and Derek are both doing very well. Hannah is a happy kid overall and she surprises me everyday. She is hilarious. Two days ago she said, "Mom, I learned a new princess today! Move on!" My response: "Move On? Oh, do you mean Mulan?" Giggle.

The kid is keeping me young. At least mentally.
